What about poor credit history?

One of the features of being, or having been in the Uniformed Services is that for one of many reasons an individual’s credit score might not be as high as it might otherwise be. For example, military personnel who have had regular overseas postings and therefore no permanent UK residence, police, fire or medical staff may have irregular overtime which is difficult to predict, or security personnel may have contract wages paid into off-shore accounts. The odd mortgage or credit card payment might have been missed, or there may be CCJs. Whatever the issue, the panel of providers making up Uniform Finance have real expertise in finding solutions. They will work on your behalf bringing into play their experience gained over years of dealing with serving and ex uniformed service personnel. It is unlikely that anything you can throw at them they haven’t dealt with before!

Am I protected if I deal with providers via Uniform Finance?

Absolutely. In fact doubly so. Every provider on the Uniform Finance panel is fully accredited by the relevant UK authority and these are shown in each ‘Finance Partner’ section of the website. An additional layer of protection exists in that the Uniform Finance team are also on hand to assist customers. Should any dispute or misunderstanding arise between a provider and a customer, Uniform Finance can step in and act on behalf of the customer to ensure a resolution is quickly found.
